UniFy launches a POS built on its OMS, bringing stock, orders, payments and store operations into one application. See it at Tech for Retail 2026, stand L72.
Since 2024, UniFy’s OMS has unified retailers’ inventory and orchestrated orders across e-commerce, warehouses and stores. At Tech for Retail 2026, UniFy is unveiling the next step: UniFy POS, a point-of-sale solution built on its OMS that brings all store operations together in one application. The best way to understand it is to see it for yourself at stand L72. It takes just 15 to 20 minutes.

UniFy is first and foremost an OMS. It gives retailers a single view of their inventory, wherever it is held, and routes each order to the right stock location according to their own business rules. Click & Collect, Ship from Store, online reservations, in-store ordering and omnichannel returns are all built into the OMS.
The POS is its natural extension. When the OMS already knows where all the inventory is and can orchestrate every order, checkout no longer needs to be a separate piece of software. It becomes the sales associate’s interface to that shared foundation.
In most retail businesses, stores run on a patchwork of applications: one for checkout, another for checking stock, another for stocktakes, another for transfers and goods receiving, plus interfaces connecting them all to the OMS and ERP. Each tool has its own interface, login and synchronisation delays.
Sales associates, who make up the majority of a retail brand’s workforce, are the first to bear the burden. Re-entering data, switching between screens and following different procedures for every task create daily friction; and mean more time spent using tools instead of helping customers.
UniFy POS brings all store operations together in a single interface. Because it is built on the OMS, every operation is immediately reflected in inventory across the network. For retailers, that means one application to deploy and a much simpler store IT environment.
When a size or colour is unavailable in store, the sales associate can see stock across all stores and warehouses. They place the customer’s order from the most appropriate location and offer the service that suits them: home delivery or collection from a store of their choice. A single basket can combine items taken home immediately with items ordered for later, all paid for in one transaction. The OMS then orchestrates the order through to the customer.
In store, sales associates shape the customer experience. Customers who feel well looked after buy, and, above all, come back. To bring that energy to their work, teams cannot spend their day struggling with their tools.
UniFy POS was designed with this in mind. Teams can get to grips with it in minutes, including those less comfortable with technology. Sales associates can focus on their customers, sell inventory from across the network and reach their targets more easily. Everyone benefits: the sales associate, the customer and the store’s revenue.
UniFy both develops and hosts its solution. The platform runs on its own infrastructure, with its own IP addresses and no dependency on a third-party cloud. UniFy therefore controls its entire product, from code to hosting, while retailers’ data stays in Europe.
The platform also works with retailers’ existing systems. UniFy connects natively to leading e-commerce platforms, including Shopify, as well as ERP systems, payment solutions and carriers. Retailers using Shopify keep their website and rely on UniFy to orchestrate orders and equip their stores.
“UniFy POS is not another product sitting alongside our OMS. It is the OMS extending all the way to checkout. When you already orchestrate all of a retailer’s inventory and orders, building the POS on that foundation makes sense. But the first person to benefit is the sales associate: we remove everyday frustrations and give them back time for their customers. A happy sales associate means a happy customer who buys and comes back,” says Brice Ohayon, founder and CEO of UniFy.
A POS needs to be tried hands-on. At stand L72, the UniFy team will give you a 15-to-20-minute demonstration based on a real store scenario: a customer wants an item in a size that is no longer available in store. The sales associate finds it in the network’s inventory, places the order, arranges delivery and takes payment, all within the same application. Then comes the rest of the store’s day: an exchange, goods receiving, a transfer and a stocktake.
The simplest way to see the difference is to come along.
